After introducing the Canon PowerShot SX230 HS with a long zoom equipped with GPS, Canon also introduced the Canon PowerShot ELPH 500 HS (known as DIGITAL IXUS 310 HS in Europe/Asia and in Japan as 31s IXY) product is a digital camera with touch panel LCD. We might think it was S80 that present several years ago was the last of the line S-series compact camera Canon PowerShot. But, it is S90 turned out this year present a retro appearance. When gripped, S90 feels a bit heavy, but still ergonomic.
It seems there is no flash in the S90. It was found hidden in top left panel. Flash is automatically lifted when the camera is set to Auto detect situations that require its presence.
